MISSION STATEMENT: For more than a century, our organization has strived to build better lives for the children of the Washington Metropolitan Area. Our mission supports programs that provide a creative, consistent and positive impact on the lives of at-risk children and youth. We fund activities that instill optimism and broaden a child's horizon. These programs should appreciate the uniqueness of each child and build positively on the strengths of each child.
